Well that would be great, I never thought of asking the forums.
The biggest cost is the ferry ride, from what I know. I’ve never actually researched it but the ferry could be $1000-1500

As mentioned on this forum the cheapest way to ship stuff is LTL, let someone else pay the bulk of the freight and have your (relatively) smaller shipment piggyback

Did you a "wanted" ad in the the local online buy/sell? That has worked for a number us in other parts of the country, myself included.

The quote I had were for LTL shipping. But if a ferry ride is that much then I don’t blame them for quoting me so high.

I'll have to remind myself not to complain about the 1 1/2 hour boat ride to Vancouver.
Good hunting.

Unfortunately that’s part of being where you are

Great province, great people.....not the best trucking lanes

It's a different place alright. There were semi trailer loads of firewood on the ferry we took across. Firewood stockpiles and little fenced garden plots (only place to find available soil) all along the no shoulder highways. I remember thinking, if we have a flat where the h.ll will we change it LOL. But.... I did get to see my bucket list iceberg.

Plenty of icebergs, in another month or so I expect to see them in our bay again. I don’t think much of it but just something I take for granted I guess

Yes I noticed it the other day, figured I’d keep an eye on it. But by the time sale tax and whatever goes on I’d say it will be over priced. I’m always watching that site and 90% of what sold is over payed for lol I got to laugh to be honest. People pay for things what they would pay for new a lot of times it’s ridiculous.

thanks for letting me know though. I’ll still keep my eye on it next week before it closes.
