I have some re-melted brass - but most of my slugs are like 1.5in.

I have some 3" or so aluminum as well, no problems there.

Or you can go for stainless steel for mass. I am quite sure I have that as well.

Ya,,,, cheater... lol

Speaking of cheating, if you're thinking about ordering from PM they have a couple of things I'm interested in if you want to split shipping. If the shipping cost is acceptable.
Sure, shoot me a PM with what you're looking for and we can see what they say for shipping.

A few years ago I bought some round brass stock from a company in the Toronto area. I thought it was expensive then, but just checked with MS today and I find they are now charging over 7x what I paid. I have more of the 1.5" round bar than I will ever need, so if anyone would like to take some off my hands we could talk. I have at least two bars 48" long. Plus one 48" bar of 1.25" round brass.

Ok that might make shipping somewhat reasonable. I'll be in touch, thanks!

Yes brass has now become "precious metal" In terms of investment that's pretty good return.
I too have some 2" round brass and recently checked out MS prices and was glad I do not need to buy any now.
