I have a RF30, Back lash would drive me crazy, and required a more than talented hand to hit a given target. I put a simple Digital read out on the front, game changer, you actually know where you are now. I compensate for the backlash now by just a slight bit of quill lock drag/on. Nothing...

    Better drill press vise?

Bought this a few yrs back, just didn't want to be using the DX6 for everything. Happy with it for the price, furthermore I was looking for something not made in China. The Rohm web site leads you to believe Germany as I remember? I expected it would be stamped place of origin, but there is...

    1950 Bentley engine project

John Very interested in this project, thinking about the SBC install if the block is not salvageable. The car excites me, and even though I am a chevy fan...I would like to plant a seed. A unique car with a unique substitute under the hood would retain if not elevate the value of the ride...

    1950 Bentley engine project

John, thanks for taking the time to show us that project. I am a wrench turner myself, but only as a hobby. I would not have thought of the "Head Puller" idea. It is obvious you have been around. Looking forward to seeing more from this project, I suspect there is more challenges awaiting. Todd
