  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year.     The Starrett #196 indicator sets was a requirement for millwrights before lasers. I have couple of sets. In order for couplings to last, they have to in alignment . The ones I most often had to align were pumps and motors . Big ones were easy, the little ones I swore were on springs.

    I worked in a wire mill. We used hydrochloride acid for wire cleaning and sulfuric acid rod cleaning . It was never called pickling. These were areas I tried to avoid. Chlorine gas from the break down ,does permanent damage to lungs. I had enough of that in pulp mills.

    Both aluminum and vinyl siding finishes degrade, all most like etching. So they can be repainted. I have seen repainted aluminum which looked good. The big IF, is the quality of paint now. I think your adjuster needs a letter with a legal firm's letterhead . chuckle.
