Tool Wells Setting kneemill x Axis powerfeed ...for parts?

If you want yourself a project, go for it. Would suggest you take a close look on how these are designed because they are 1) many teeth 2) odd numbered/non-evenally divisible 3) the teeth are slanted, not perpendicular.

Tool Wells Setting kneemill x Axis powerfeed ...for parts?

I have this Wells Setting X-axis powerfeed and works..except the nylon gear in the bottom was stripped previously and cant seem to find a replacement - none of the 5 current clones even come close to fitting. I used it for quite a while just as a general 'travel' mechanism but indeed with the...

WTB : 1-10 Hand Tap RH

NOS or lightly used 1" 10TPI RH hand tap; taper or plug type ideal Prefer N.A or European; I know I could buy Chinese for not too much but I find that the metalurgy of them is hit/miss and this is too big of a thread to mess around

leadscrews for PDM30 mill - took measurements tip-to-tip of leadscrew (not just threaded area): x - 35 3/8 RH thread; y - 17 3/4 LH thread ...very close but there are a number of versions out there... OD is .925, 10TPI - that OD is what I'm focusing on re: minor differences between brands...

    Machine PDM30 table nut stripped

table nut threads are worn so cleaning wont improve The thought I had is to bore out to 1-10 acme thread but indeed, I do not possess the skill nor components to ensure that it turns out correctly. This would reduce the nut wall thickness but maybe there could still be enough to make the nut...

    Machine PDM30 table nut stripped

Good idea; I'd like to explore tapping the OEM table nut out to 1-10 acme and see how much material is left (without spending $200+ for the tap). Table nut has a flange on it so I don't think this could be turned in a lathe...is there another way to get that thread bored out from .925 to 1"...

Good to hear that you finally got it sorted; I'm trying to deal with King myself at the moment and every bit of info they've provided has been false/incomplete. In reference to your issue, here is what they are claiming: We would also like to advise that the client you refer to with the lead...

I didnt blame KMS for the quality/wear issue...I do take exception to their 'we wont help' in Calgary and have experienced on other items. FWIW - KMS has a repairs/parts department in Conquitlam - they ask the other stores to direct customer requests to them...but they admitted that Calgary...

    Machine PDM30 table nut stripped

Handle holes that you have to mill; I assume these are the holes that the roll pins go in to hold the ends on? If so, weird that these aren't already drilled as I would expect that the part should be drop-in....perhaps another QC issue and this step got missed at the factory. Not impressed...
