  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

    Machine CX 601 saga continues!

It’s gonna be a while before I take this plunge, but having seen their site they seem to be good. Retirement and travel constrain the tool budget but it will come around. if I can get it all in a package that works that’s my big thing. It’s a killer here as postage is so slow, if you have to go...

Wired everything as required, the techs having idiot proofed the wiring with lots of labels. I also had my own pictures as well as an extensive collection of photos...

    New CX 601 Mill

I think I have things hopefully soon to be running. The electrical box is being returned after diagnosis. Seemingly filled with loose connections. I’m presently in Dominican Republic enjoying the sun and rum so I hope the parts will either be there waiting for me or arrive soon after I do. I...

Thanks for the support, I’m going to persevere for a wee while longer. I’m out of the country for a month so they have a bit of time. When I return I am writing directly to HQ. I’m not asking for much just a “Dear Donald sorry for the delay, it will take x time and we will have it back to you...

    Hello from Pangnirtung, Nunavut.

I have to say I am so disappointed with the company Busy Bee Tools. It was always one of my favourite places to visit when in the south. A place for a gear head to go and dream about tools. Not just any tool’s but specialty tools on a different scale. This summer I took the dive and bought my...
