  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. Interesting machine. swivel table. Never seen one of those before. Too bad they left it outside. Doesn't look like it would have much z travel. Conclusion: Somebody grab it quick!
 
Grab it quick? If that is near what the 4u vicy I had was size wise it may weigh 7000bl.+/-. Table is what's called a universal table. My friend that got mine was very excited and more so when I pulled out the vertical head and 10 in. Vise. I didn't know it weighed that much, hauled it home in the back of the dodge, no the springs were not flattened out.
 
I talked to the owner. It's a 2U and he says they lift it easily with a 5000 lb forklift. He sent me a pic of the motor plate and it's 5HP but it shows 550 volt. When I asked if they really run it on 220 volt 3 phase he said they have 240 and 480 three phase in the shop and he's not sure which they ran it on. Asking price is 5K obo so I lost interest.
