I got an e-mail from Busy Bee Tools this morning regarding their scratch and dent sale. They have a 7x12 lathe in Calgary for $699. I din't read what was wrong with it but it may be worth a look.

The link on the Calgary store takes you to the lathe, and lists the repairs. Would be a great deal for me except I need at least 16in between centres.

that busy bee might not be a bad deal, unless you have the time to sit on kijiji 24/7 and jump on a moments notice its pretty hard to get a deal these days
