Posts in the "Request a part, job, or quote from members" thread are not surfacing in the What's new / Latest posts list.
 
I just posted a test in Johnwa's need some 3" round thread. it showed up for me. ???
 
I just tried creating a new post in the "Request a part, job, or quote from members" thread three times and all went into a "Waiting Approval" state???
 
Actually that doesn't explain it either. @Johnwa 's post never made it to the top of the What's new list until someone replied to it. Maybe the approval mechanism doesn't push it up.

Hi: I'm nearly ready with my shop renovation to move my mill-drill into the basement. Could somebody in the west GTA loan me an engine hoist (aka shop crane) to help with disassembly and reassembly of the machine? I hope I'd only need it for a few days but everything always takes longer than...
