I have a bunch of these and have given some away. A thou over 7/16" and solid carbide, I thought they were a reamer. Being carbide they have to be in something stable like a mill or they chip if you are drilling with them.
Because they come to a point and can drill, and they are slightly tapered for a bit. I could be wrong, they were sold to me as carbide drills. Carbide would be too brittle to ream ell and all my reamers have many more flutes.
You might not have any, but there are lots of 4 Flute reamers around. The point may well allow for drilling, but it would also facilitate a quick start. Might be very well suited to reaming non-chip metals like cast iron or bronze.
