  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. I see princess auto has a bunch of these blacksmith brand welding tables again, I have one, its an ok light duty table for the money, accessories are useable

They have what looks like 9 of them at the south store

i bought one December 1 2021 for 179 when i was looking for write offs, and thought i would give the fixture table gimmick a go, so they must have jacked the price pretty quickly after you got yours

you could build one for cheaper no doubt, as there is only about 80$ worth in material (assuming you bought a full plate), but then you would need to drill all the holes, buy the accessories, etc. so its probably a wash

either way, better than working on the floor
