Thanks for the links, I actually have the #version of the Ajax. Trying to find the Letter version is a bit more tricky. I prefer the style that has both the size Fractional/Letter/Number as well as the decimal value displayed.

Cleveland made a nice ornate one for fractional, however I don't care for the two sided style.

I'm going to 3D print a round one (like the one bottom left in the images above) for letter drills today as a stop gap measure. I actually purchased the one lower left off eBay, it's a turn of the century kinda deal.

I have a fractional index made by Whitman and Barnes, who made drill bits until 1920 $25.00 with or without the drills. Local pickup ok in Qualicum Beach BC
