There are two locations I use:

Small shopping center 5 minutes away with reasonable traffic but open parking in front of a Dunkin.

Also about 5 minutes away in the other direction is a township office/police station with s nice big parking lot.

If I sell or buy something expensive I meet at police parking lot that I know is covered by 4 cameras with live monitoring...

with the exception of machine tools. I only buy those from trusted sellers

and I still tell my wife where I'm going, and give her all the contact information for the person I am going to see.
