  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Because the actual seller usually has no clue. Their hubby or dad died or they divorced or or or. Best to call and ask. Looks like a nice machine. Might even be worth the ask or more.

I think it is either a DA210 or a DA225. Spindle is belt driven (discussion on another thread about that…)

I believe that may be a 225 judging by the tail stock spacer block. I have this length and the the next one longer . This is a 60 inch machine between Center’s I think. They came in 1 meter, 1.5 meter and 2 meter. Very good machines.
 
Near by too1 If only I had 5K! I have to build up my $ war chest for another machine! Might be hard to sneak it past my wife tho.:rolleyes:
