Does anyone here think that lathe is worth anywhere near that? Even just 4 digits?

If so, I gotta get my butt in gear and sell my old 1880s girl. It needs a better, more loving home than I can give it.

Maybe if it was in pristine, restored condition AND you found the right buyer.
It does look useable though and so it would probably fetch half of the asking price?

Jeez that's not far from me,,,,,,,,fortunately i have a large lathe that fills all my needs.

I think that lathe is built from some parts manufactured by the Hendey company. From the photos, some of the parts/guards are the same as my old girl. altho appears to be a cone pully set-up, it doesnt have the tie-bar frame.
The headstock appears to be Hendey but the apron & bed is different than mine,
