I just returned. As usual, most of the toys on offer were wood related -- planes, gouges, axes, etc. -- with enough metal related stuff to make it interesting. I bought a few Kant-Twist clamps, a never used 5/8-24 tap and some nice Italian made nippers. Also something that I didn't recognize but for $1 I couldn't resist. It is the same as this Sunnen thingey on evilBay. Let me know if you want it!

I think you must have just beat me to the Kant-Twist table!
I bought the smaller pair.

Ran into Dan Dubeau and had a chance to catch up a little. (Accidentally scooped a few things he was thinking about grabbing on a second pass, sorry again Dan)

Angle plate with V-groove, small jack, two 2” Kant-Twists, small hole gauges, an interesting pair of dividers, two slim triangular files, and two small pairs of needle nosed pliers, $115.

Dividers are a box-joint.

So you're the evil one! I got three 3-inch (#510) Kant-Twist on an initial pass and decided that I deserved the pair of 2-1/2 that you scored. I should have made an offer for all 5! If your needle nose are from the same vendor as mine they are great for the price.

I wonder if the chisels for orthopedic surgery that were on the middle table sold. I was sorely tempted for $20 for a half-dozen. Great conversation pieces!

Sorry to have missed you and Dan. We should have scheduled lunch or a coffee.

We'll all have to get organized for the fall one, and grab a coffee or something. I think I spent the most money I ever have at this show, but the Costco stop on the way home was still worse. Managed to pick up some good usable tools that have eluded me through many toolbox buys over the years and had even more good conversations with people. Overspent on some, and deals on others. All in all, not a bad way to spend a few hours. Nice to run into you Stu.

Funny you wanted those Kant twists too Ken. Good price, they looked brand new. I let them go because I already spent enough there (Starrett tap handles and Starrett angle protractor) and thought I'd grab them on my 2nd lap if I still had money left lol. I also bought a small pair of needle nose from the same guy too. I'll post pics a bit later. Just got in, and need to sit down for a while.....Too many steps, and up/downs today.

I was looking for Starrett tap handles as well, didn’t see any I liked, but..found something to fill the tool void!

Finally! Good on you Dan! I know how long you have wanted them. You said handles with an "s". Which ones did you get?

Every time I use mine I smile. THANK YOU @thestelster!!! I really should give my other ones away...... I'll never use them.
I got an A and B. I find it funny I worked my whole career wanting some, but being too cheap to buy new, and just figured I'd stumble into some cheap used ones at some point. I only found them as soon as I switched careers and don't really need them anymore lol. Paid $80 for the pair.

Nice!. There were a few good deals on mics there. More metalworking tools I think, but it could just be because I got there early this time.

Usually I leave with plenty of cash in my wallet and don't find much I want, or don't already have. Today I wish I brought more and probably could have spent another $200.
