Tools and Machinery Raffle

My staging area at this point . I pull a couple items a week and list them on the bay to get them out of the house . Everything usually sells . It's a very slow process and getting the correct size boxes is a PITA but things are slowly moving out .

You're in the USA so selling into Canada isn't the greatest prospect because of the current exchange rates...

But I'd be interested in seeing in detail all your 5C collets. You could DM me for my email

Oh I know about selling up there . I've delivered up to Toronto and out to Dabbler in the past .

@mmcmdl I can honestly say, I have never seen a box overflowing with used tap handles to that extent. Wow. You should seriously consider getting one of those micro bead blasters like what jewelers use & bring them back to life. They don't make tools like that anymore. I'm just going to drop this YouTube channel here for inspiration. See you in a year LOL

LOL , that's half of them . I had a bead blaster in the past but it went with the compressor . I'm down to a Ultrasonic cleaner now , WD-40 Rust Soak and a wire wheel .

Well feed the restored beauties into Ebay at a contemplated pace to maintain good supply/demand price metrics. If you singlehandedly flood the market, it will crash the whole system & possibly initiate a trade war with Asia.

LMAO . I ran 500+ end mills thru the cleaner last week . I'm starting with them . Then the rest of this basement , then the bedroom , then the garage , then the other basement .

Have you considered THA (Tool Hoarders Anonymous)? They might have a meeting in your area.

For me I think that instead of trying to find a way to pre sell my stuff for when I kick it, I will down size the stuff I don't need or use as I get older. And for the rest just make sure that my wife and son know what things are worth. That way if my son isn't interested in keeping a shop full of tools because it's not really his thing then he has an idea of what to ask for things to make selling them easier on him and reduce the stress of him wondering if he is getting ripped off. It is something I think about more as I watch my parents get older and I look at how much stuff they have and really hope they deal with a lot of it before they are to old to do it them selves.
