What do you guys think about the valuation of this item?
I went to have a look at it today, everything was as described in the ad.

No jigs of any kind only the hardware for the wheels, the guards aren't original. From what I read there is an A289A unit that you can really setup all the angles easily charts and everything but some quick searches didn't find much but maybe you could luck into something one day but it would homemade jigs.

On the value issue - well it would be a 'no brainer' at say 350$. With no accessories, it will be a project to find enough to make it quite useful again. But if you are in a scarce market, having it is better than not.

Keep in ind that a offshore clone of a Deckel grinder would set you back over $1000 new. If you expect to see more grinders in the future you might bid $425, but if you don't want it to get away, you might reply with $475...

I could be out to lunch here...

I agree with your thinking 350 no brainer, I thought 400 he would might be insulted, up to 450 would be fair I don't know about more than that for me. I didn't feel educated enough to make an offer today the ad is 11 days old now, I am gonna do a bit more reading on it and decide.

This one is still available 800 now https://www.kijiji.ca/v-power-tool/...-coolant-runs-on-220v-single-phase/1615098487
not the same quality but basically turnkey multifunction. but larger footprint.

Anyways appreciate your input.
@Brent H thanks for the manuals lots of info.

If I were looking for one, I'd take the 900$ option and have him proof run it in his shop. Less hassle, working system with what you need to get started. The 510$ one is a beaut, but the 900$ one is better value for someone who doesn't want a long journey.
