Tool box slides

Just a final post for this thread. Fixed all the slides, sanded down the rusty surfaces,and gave the old girl a paint job.

Ready for service again......

That's a nice box. I have a matching "mid" cabinet to that one, and we have a top box at work for tooling the same as well. Ya, they are only friction slides, and not bearing ones, but they actually work well, and don't bind up under load like a lot of other brands do. Quality box, that's for sure. I like the solid easy to grab handles too.

Ya, actually the bride did all the handles. But the tag is glued on and would not come off. She has it in her mind to repaint the tag in black and silver by hand.

But maybe I misunderstand your joke. If so then trust me, it doesn't look that great in person. No tag needed.......
