I hope that wasn't a rash decision to swap the tires on the Sante Fe, i also removed my winter snow suit from the back. If your going to tempt fate and mother nature go all in.

Yup I did the minivan tire swap also about 10 days ago after our last "winter/spring" trip to Northern/central BC. I said to my wife that I still hoped we'd get one more heavy snowfall yet this spring. The late spring snowfalls never stick around for long and often bring significant moisture, which for us is always welcome.

I just pulled the winters off my truck tonight. Wife's Santa Fe tomorrow. Hope we are done with the snow for this spring as well.

Wife got hers done yesterday, and I'm doing mine today if I can find a gap in the rain. I think we're done in the GTA.

I got to lose my “chain up cherry” a week ago, at 3 am in the morning :( Spent 12 hours on the highway in northern Ontario waiting for the roads to open, from people playing bumper cars

But BC has signs up to carry chains until April 30, so I guess it’s not unusual to need them late season?

Im not taking Carharts off the truck for awhile yet, I’m not that brave DBD9F430-48C4-4F7D-A327-3EBAE9B4B834.jpeg 5F9228B1-400D-4785-BFE0-F7B3B82FF01F.jpeg

We had a mild winter in Ottawa, changed the tires two weeks ago and cut the grass for the first time yesterday.

Put some gas in the Honda lawn mower. Gave it a half hearted weak pull just to make sure the recoil etc. was working as it should, and it started on that first 1/2 pull. Honda make fantastic small engines.

I'll give it a couple more weeks until I swap tires on our car. The summers are pure summer rated tires and any amount of snow would be disastrous with them. My truck runs winters year round as I don't put enough miles on it to bother having two sets.

Ya same here, i run mud tires year round on my trucks. Never know what we may run into when cruising the pastures, plus we are not close to pavement with 4 miles of alkali roads to the nearest black top.
