  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. I just drove to Coalhurst to pick up a new toy it all was fine till the motor cut out on the highway with 34 k to go. It would start back up for a bit before doing it again eventually I call a flat deck tow truck to the tune of $360. But what the hell this is what I picked up a 18 footer 1980 Vanguard xl … no power windows or AC just no drafts.
So now the fun starts anyone have a manual? lol

Did it startup right away again or did it need to cool down before starting again. A van I had would die when it got hot but then run again after it cooled down, it turned out to be a cracked coil tower.
 
I literally have to talk my Wife out of buying something like this about every 2-3 weeks. Either one of these, or a schoolbus to convert into a motorhome. Have fun with it.

Chevy 350?
 
It’s a 350 I believe with what looks like a 750? Holley on it that I think is too much for it I would prefer a 650 Holley ( spreadbore )

It appears to be fuel related it will start for approx 5 seconds so some gas must be getting past otherwise it wouldn’t flash so tomorrow’s task will be to replace the filter.

PS it didn’t take me to Funky Town but it must’ve been there at one point it still had that Funky Smell!
