Just a quick update. FAIL

I tried soaking it in a few different things. No luck. Gave up and sent it off to the scrap bin. Sometimes a great deal, isn’t. But you still have to try.

I ran across a 1" Starrett mic on an auction yesterday, Starrett box but the mic is a Moore & Wright. Was going to bid till i looked close, already have a M&W.
