Since this section directly pertains to the means of material acquisition, it seems a better place to post for material swap than the classified section. As a good number of us have aquired more 4140 than we will use and others such as myself with material i have and don't need/cannot keep. why not exchange with other members, like the tool lender for premium members but stock exchange

I have a stick of 6061-T6 3.5" dia. x 17.5" round, would be interested in some large dia. 4140.

I have tons of 4140 large diameter stuff up to about 10" I also have tons of large diameter 4340. Literally tons of stuff.
