I’d appreciate any suggestions you guys have on where to order a chuck key that fits this old drill press.

You could take the chuck to the local second hand store and trial and fit for one. Do you have a "ReStore" in MJ? The one here (Victoria) always has a fair selection of chuck keys. Can you lookup the correct key using the size/make/model of chuck?

When I needed a chuck key for a drill chuck on my lathe I found one at Great Western Saw in Regina. Would certainly help if you could remove the chuck to check it at the store.

I caved and bought a couple multi-sets from kbc tools. Two different keys pretty much work in any chuck I own

Now…. If only I could find them

I bought my K4 chuck keys from Grainger for $22 each. I see they are available on Amazon too.

My keys go right back into the jaws hand tight...My Dad was the worse for packing away the chuck keys from the drill press. I saw this way keeping the key and chuck together and I was sold!
