I'd have jumped but it's up island for me and the travel restriction was just extended to Dec 14.

So I'm not sure how people sell stuff nowadays.

Lady said it was available. I said I would like to buy it and asked if an etransfer was OK. Read my messages. Ignored me and 25 minutes later said it was sold.

Would have been nice to get this, but oh well. I feel better now after venting anyway.

That happens to me a lot on items too good to be true.

Same happened to me on a $75 horizontal band saw trying to get a time to go look at it back and forth then one morning "sorry its sold". frustrating for sure but on to the next one.

What got me was I messaged back one minute after “Yes it is available” and the next two messages were read and ignored. When I was asking about paying for the item. Oh well. I will recover. Years of counselling ahead, but I will recover.

I find the smell of cutting fluid and the sizzling sound of shavings coming of a properly executed lathe cut to be quite therapeutic
