The Lathe I have for sale is a South Bend 10K with the motor in its cabinet.
Model number: CL370ZDM.
Full bed length: 42 inches.
Distance between centres: 24 inches.
Maximum turning diameter: 10 inches.
Head-stock MT3, Tail-stock MT2
Spindle 1-1/2" 8 TPI.
Motor : 3/4 HP BALDOR 110/220 wired for 110V
Splash pan: 50" long by 22" deep.
Mechanical condition - exceptionally good.

This lathe is known as the South Bend light 10. A rework of their standard 9A.
Most of the 9" lathe parts will fit this lathe. This one, being from a Canadian school
is metric. Well - sort of. The main lead screw is 3mm pitch. Also the quick change
has the levers reversed to the inch ones, as it is threading in pitch, not threads per inch.
The cross feed and compound feed are both 10 TPI, but with metric dials
The tail-stock is plane inch. I cut a 127-135 change gear set for my other unit
so I can thread inch.
I spent considerable time cleaning and oiling this lathe. I also managed to
get all the missing parts, right down to the oil gits on the quick change.
It is complete and runs really well. I checked its accuracy with
my MT3 test bar. Everything is considerably better than what South Bend required.
Spindle Total Indicator Runout (TIR) .0002". Spindle alignment to bed .0005" in 10".
Bed straightness, within the length of the test bar, .0002".
Spindle end play was small enough I could not measure it.

The book and wick package are a restore kit. The book is worth its weight in gold.
Includes all the secrets of getting things apart and back together.
The three drawers use metal slides and are very stiff. I put ball bearing slides on my unit
and it made a huge difference. I had enough slides left over for this lathe.
The piece of metal beside the Allen key fits the cross feed slot.
It is tapped for the centre bolt of a wedge style OXA quick change tool holder.
