Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

It's not far, and we do go up that way regularly - if they'd take an eTransfer and hold them for a while (few days? Week?) I'd be happy to pick them up for you. Also, I have a son on Texada and a Granddaughter in Powell River who go back and forth to/from here with some regularity ( every couple weeks, month or so?) that could probably bring them most of the way to you. But yeah, if your in a hurry, "pre-paid box". (Yes that looks like a good deal, but I rarely need to work to that precision.) The seller may come down to The Big City of Duncan regularly also and I could meet them closer to my place.
