Solidworks Maker version coming?

I couldn't see Jeremy's link but at min ~10 he talks about 'maker version of Solidworks coming later in the year'.

Some Googling turned up something in the works.

Lots of talk about 'qualified' fablabs and actual maker spaces (+ their members). Seems to leave out the vast majority who have access to neither one.

I suspect that for hobby use the EAA license is still the best option.

That’s my impression too. More of a discount incentive towards full price. EAA is hands down best option. Hope it lasts. Kind of shocked it’s there actually.
