  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. My XCarve is still for sale, with a few adjustments
The machine is fully ready to go, as I’m including the windows 10 computer (with VCarve Pro installed), the desk and the Rigid Shop Vac.
I’m also lowering the asking price to $2000.

A note about the Vectric VCarve Pro Software. I have version 9 which is fully capable software, able to do any carving you might need. The latest version is 11, which retails for about $1K. Vectric’s upgrade policy allows you to simply pay the price difference. In this case about $300. While not needed, the option is always there.

Don’t know why I can’t seem to get any bites on this. If it’s distance, delivery could be a bargaining point.

I would also be up for a trade. I am in search of smallish bench mill.
 
Looks like a good setup to play with and get someone started. I would be interested to come check it out if I lived in the area, alas I live in BC so I will root for you instead.
