The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Selling a 1960s Simpson Supremacy lathe

Real cool old vintage well built unit.

If you look them up, Simpson was before Craftsman/Atlas. Craftsman 109 is the newer version.

This unit has all metal gears, has auto-feed function but its missing that one sprocket.

All the levers/handles work as they should

Missing a couple pieces to make it complete, but everything is available still online/ebay for these lathes

Motor is a 120v single phase GE electric 1/4hp with a ON/OFF motor starter switch

This would ge a cool starter benchtop lathe for someone looking to get into machining. Just mount the base and the motor to a wooden benchtop!

Let me know if you have anymore questions and I’ll do my best to answer them

Thanks
