Looks like an Airedale. My neighbour has one. Very yappy.
She doesn't like vehicles, other animals, or people. But a few treats and a very firm fearless hand and she quickly learned to like me. She would prolly learn to like you too.
This is our girl .... born May 5 2021 . She's a Presa Canario , a mastiff . She's playful , crazy , loving , loyal & a barrel of laughs . Her yard is very much hers and is serious about security & privacy
I lost my best buddy Fraser to a brain tumor in June of 2020 and thought he would be our last pup.
We gave in after a few requests from SCARS and adopted Skye in March 2022, a 2 year old Lab cross who had just weaned 6 puppies. She's a sweet gentle friend to everyone she meets.

Stumbled onto this thread - I enjoyed all your doggie stories. Thanks for sharing.
We’ve had a few along the way but have resisted the urge to replace Maggie - our husky/lab cross.
But now we get to enjoy our kids dogs when they are over for a visit or even better when we get to doggie sit.
Guess a picture is a requirement here - so this is our family with my daughter holding Maple and my son with Otto.
True story - My daughter took piano lessons from Mrs J. It was a 15 minute drive to get there for a 30 minute lesson. So it was just easier to wait in Mrs J’s sitting room. Panda was Mrs J’s husky and visiting with Panda made the 30 minutes go by much easier. One day Mrs J commented that I certainly must have a special connection with animals. She said that Panda ignores everyone except me. Well the truth was that I always brought along a pocket full of doggie treats. Guess that was my special animal connection.
