I have my Taig lathe and need to raise my part for drilling and line boring on the crossfeed table.

The specs are 2x4x0.875" and 2x4x0.5" Aluminum is fine.

Just curious what this would cost. I'm in Goderich.

Postage. I'd have to do them in steel though.

Why not just buy CRS flatbar in 1/2 x 2” and 7/8 x 2” ?
CRS is ‘low alloy steel’ and dimensions are typically -.001”.
You can cut them yourself.

I'm assuming that the 2x4 dimension is just to have a comfortable size to clamp to your crossfeed table and that the 0.875" & 0.500" is what matters. You could buy a foot of bar, saw it in half, then face it to the important dimensions in your 4 jaw.
