First chips! The hole in the new reach had an offset lip that needed some attention before the ball would fit. I think I'm going to like the power quill, it makes such a nice cut.

Thanks David, it took a few tries to figure out the how to's but I'm a happy boy.

Once I got the engagement mechanism cleaned up, that and the boring head brought a big grin to my face!

Twofootitis, I looked at a beast Wedsday, I am getting stupid, weighs about 7 tons, not run since uncle bob was alive, was a card controlled unit (ccu??). Do I need a mill like that? No,No,No, but I am thinking about it, now if I just did this, maybe----- . SAY No, after me.

You realize you're talking about the guy who just moved up in milling machine? I'm on my third forever lathe as well so twofootitis is alive and living in my shop,,,,, damn. lol

Yup, the only known cure for twofootitis is death. Fortunately through life it only seems to harm the pocket book........ Kids are grown up and gone, house locks have been changed, what harm can come from it?
