Rotating tip dti

After many years of wanting one and passive searching, I finally found one.

What you see, is what I got with it, but not what I paid. I had to part with $28 hard earned dollars....

Also picked up 2 large Heinrich style drill press vises for $24 each too.....they're well used and need some cleanup, but will provide many more decades of service.

Picked these up a couple weeks ago, just finally poking my head up from underwater to post about them...

Good deal! I didn't know about the rotating tip. I'll have to check both of my yard sale wonders to see if they have that feature.

I knew about rotating probes, but never saw one in real life before. Very cool!

Apparently, you also know that the tip on most dti's can be repositioned in the same plane cuz I saw you do that too. But I have learned to mention that from time to time cuz most fellows don't know that. Also, some indicators have an action reversal lever on them.

I didn't know that to begin with, and the first time I accidentally re-positioned it I thought that I had broken it.
