  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

Welcome from Ontario Farm Country South of Chatham. It's a great forum with amazing members. You will like it here.

Thanks for the responses. Most welcome friendly site.
I am in Nanaimo, a beer bottles throw from Departure ferry.

I have a Morris Traveller not the Minor but my aunt had a 59 Minor convertible and did a lot of fishing with her when I was 15 behind Peachland. Would go anywhere!!!

Welcome from NS!

I inherited some Whitworth tools my father used on the family Morrises, suddenly they became useful to me when I acquired a Myford!

Lots of experience around here installing DROs if any advice is needed.

D

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy!
My first car was a 1960 Morris Minor 1000
A couple of years later, I luckily landed a beauty- a 5 year old Austin Vanden Plas Princess.

Another southern welcome.

I wonder what happened to all the Minors that advertised "Rent-A-Wreck"?

What model of Traveller do you have? The woodies always attract lots of attention.

Welcome from Peachland old buddy. Once you get into the home machining hobby, you will not have much time to work on your Minis. This is addictive. Have fun.
