  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. That Kent grinder looks really good. The RF looks tired but good be good.
 
Hmm I always assumed 40's were pillar column & 45 were dovetail. Guess not.

Yes someone should grab that grinder. We need lots & lots of grinders in our little community LOL
 
RF40's are round column gear head mills. RF45 are square column.
 
I saw these last night. Then I saw the 18% buyers fees and the 12% tax and I was done. Add to that the shipping to SK it would have to go cheap on the mill for it to be worthwhile for me.
 
Reidco made a bunch of parts for Western Star Trucks for years before Freightliner moved production to Oregon. No way to tell if that mill is R8 or MT3?
