Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

Yes even it is a nice paint job on junk you'd think the time and effort to do so would almost be worth that. I think 17500 is much more likley.

I was looking at a Rockford Lathe in Montreal. Seller has not been very co-operative in that I believe they are in a financial mess. Two trucks off the road because of inspection issues. Having to clear a warehouse and store machines outside because he can get more rent than the machine sales will pay. and so on... He has a lot of equipment that might go really cheap, The Rockford is not in the warehouse they need to clear.... See link below...

Some one in Ontario take a drive down then. I would just wire him the money and go there from Alberta but I am afraid this could be a scam.
I mean the machine would easily sell in AB in described excellent condition for $10,000.
