Yeah yeah....... but he wasn't loaded, therefore the remaining tires were welk under their rated capacity. 😉 🙄 😛
The state of the industry is getting pretty sad. The lower mainland last year in commercial stops removed 56% of the vehicles they pulled over for inspections. That's not including the minor infractions........ I am going to back away from my thoughts on some of the reasons for this, and no, immigration isn't the only factor on my mind..... my hat is off to the 44%, I know how hard it is to put safety ahead of profits......😎

A few days ago when the weather was cold enough to freeze the cojones off a brass monkey (-32 to -36 Celsius) one of my kid's vehicles developed a very slow but steady anti-freeze leak. The only place I could see where it was coming from was the passenger side beneath where it rests on a rubber mount. It leaked very little but enough to form a noticeable puddle. Placed cardboard and a plastic container beneath the drip. Seemed to stop once it warmed up into the mid 20's. Now I have it indoors and it has definitely 100% stopped. Saskatchewan's cold winter weather basically made the car cry.😀

Not cry. Piss.
People are the same.
Bundle up to go do the chores at the kennel on a minus 35 day and 15 minutes later you're trying to get all the zippers undone.
  • Cold-Induced Diuresis: When you're cold, your body constricts blood vessels to keep your core warm. This increases your blood pressure, prompting your kidneys to filter out excess fluid to compensate, which fills your bladder much faster than usual.

Years back I was driving my Subaru Legacy to MB at Christmas. Outside air temp was about -30C, windchill would have been absolutely insane. Along the way I started to smell gas in the cabin. Never had that before.
Pulled over, popped the hood and noticed that one of the fuel lines was weeping because the metal hose barb had contracted in the extreme cold. Snugged it up and carried on.

Then there's the article in the same report of scammers making a car look like the engine is blown to get it cheap.
They (scammers) come up with something new every day.

I never really understood the science behind the inside of the windshield frosting over. Obviously the inside air must have enough moisture to ice up, and it's meeting the cold air outside + driving through it. But that's with a warm cab and defroster so... it's not fun trying to steer and scrape frost at 55 mph 🙄

How much science would you like?

Short answer - wet air (especially melting snow on the floor and boots) that is not removed hits a sub zero surface and frosts up.

Best solution, an air vent some place at the rear of the cab. Believe it or not, it's a miracle cure. Whatever wet air is in the cab is slowly exhausted and replaced by outside air that goes to zero humidity as it warms up. Frost gone.

I use to find scraping the windows so you could see before driving then turning on the defrost to make you frantically scrape a 4” spot so you can see where you are wind chill on the windows I’d guess.
