  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

Swiss made universal bench machine, kind of patterned after the Hommel UWG (miss a fully loaded one a few years ago). Its on kijiji for 200 which is a give away price, but I don't want spend my remaining years making and collecting the million accessories for it. But you don't see them very often and I don't think the seller knows what it is. How much do you want a bet the Quebec reseller picks it up? lol. I'm so tempted..... I would if it was loaded, but must stay sane, it wouldn't add any unique capability.

I refuse to buy another swiss machine that needs tooling... and my budget has taken an unexpected beating lately so I can't buy this.

But to keep it out of the PQ dealers hands I'd be willing to pick this up, crate and ship it to someone if they wanted it
