In cleaning up and re-organizing I stumbled on a KBC Tools Catalogue (more than 1" thick) with ID Volume 52. I've sent them an email asking what year that one was produced. What's interesting is now this guy is $3299
In the catalogue the same part # is $2499 or an increase of 32% to buy it now.
If they reply back with a date I'll post it here.

Over 8 years this is not bad at all - Bank of Canada says 3150. So only 150 over inflation.

BB lathe is way over through - it is over by 900 or almost 25 % more than inflation!
