Pictures Disappear

When a FB ad is posted with a picture, the picture will stay for a few seconds and the disappear leaving the link. I don't know if this is a bug or a procedural error in how it is posted. It may be other posts as well but it's most noticeable on the FB posts.

The rubber floor mat ad that @Dan Dubeau is an example.

Does this happen with others or am I special?

I save the images from facebook onto my desktop, then I use the attach files button at the bottom of the dialog box, and click insert "full image".

I generally use the "thumbnail" option instead of full image. It takes less space to display and still leaves the full image available for download.

I'm adding a link to Dan's Original Post here for ease of reference.

@Dan Dubeau - if it's not too much trouble, could I get you to try that original Facebook link again in this thread? Maybe try it two ways - one with thumbnail and one with full image.

I'm not about to promise a fix (we basically gave up on that) but if we can find workarounds it would be a good thing.

Just doing a regular copy and paste here (on my phone) like @YYCHM does.1740249627152.png

Still had to choose a thumbnail.

On iPhone or MBA, select (right click on MBA or PC) image and save to "Photos," then use the little picture thingie (between the link symbol & Smilie Face in the edit bar) to upload where I want it I then grab one of the "handles" and shrink the photo so it takes up less territory.
