The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. The fellow just north of Lethbridge, I picked up the strange mill from had their iron worker on a cnc set up. Load the feed rack with material, put cut lengths in program, turn it lose. Fed the material in, cut to length, put on the out feed rack, or in a bin, shorts went to another bin. All on its lonesome, left him to program the laser for the next job, or working the cnc 240 ton press. I did not see what was in the other shop!
It was a holy cow, and horse, maybe even a chicken kind of afternoon.

These things are primarily for production work cutting say 500 pcs of 5/8 round stock for a railing or shearing 50 column base plates and punching holes in them what we would call detail work in structural steel.
I had a Gairu suprema 13 (spain)
It could snap off 3/4 x 8 and 6x6x1/2 angle with surpising ease.
I traded it for cash and a much smaller peddinghaus machine that sits unused outside for the last 10 years
Ill take some pics and post them
