Oh Canada

Sockeye salmon bbq, fireworks, food trucks, parade, and lots of music for Canada Day here in Steveston (Richmond, BC). Only downside is I live downstream of the parade route so I can’t use my car to go out, all the roads are blocked for the parade.

We live in Paradise.

Lucky you. I'm on Vancouver Island. No one should move here. Terrible place to live. Last place in the world to visit. You have to risk sinking on a ferry to get here or run away. Weather is terrible. Pollution etc. Don't come here...

My wife was just sayin' the other day, "everybody who visits the island says it's a beautiful place to visit".

What happened there since my wife declared it a beautiful place to visit? Now I gotta tell her, again, she's wrong?

Due to my medications I'm not allowed old grandpa's special pop brand so I've switched to root beer.

Life's a bitch then you die!

My wife can't indulge anymore for the same reason - meds. She can't, so I don't either (maybe once in a long while if we got out for a special supper I'll have one real drink). Neither of us drank much to begin with so not a big deal.

About 2 months ago I was thirsty enough to try one of her alcohol free beers - Corona Cero. I am hooked. Bought 4 cases at COSTCO when they went on sale.

We like corona alcohol free too. But I'm not sure what Corona Cero is. Did you mean zero?

Corona cero

Corona Cero is an alcohol-free beer from Corona, brewed with 100% natural ingredients, offering the same crisp and refreshing taste as its alcoholic counterpart, with subtle citrus notes and a perfectly balanced flavor. It has 0.0% ABV and only 56 calories per bottle, making it suitable for consumption anytime, best served cold with a wedge of lime.
