Not at the moment, got some. It was kind of a bust trying to order some from " Amagoon", they would not deliver. Haven't worked out what the deal is. Anyway got some from Napa, yet to try them, and I just had to walk across the street, here 2 days later. Never thought!

Search for "metal trades handbook lehrmittel" on Abebooks. My ISBN is 978-3-8085-195-8 english version. Also available on Amazon.ca

I found a copy of the book on line and it arrived today. Now I know why you like it.

I haven't read it yet, but just skimming it, it does appear to contain a wealth of excellent appropriate content! It will be my bedside reading for a while.

Thanks for the link, guys! I previously only found the German language version, which is limited use to me. If I like it, I'll certainly order the hard copy...

+1 on that! My hard copy arrived a few days ago. Skimmed thru it a bit, looks excellent!. More pictorial than Machinery's Handbook, reminiscent of my current favorite the "Engineer's Black Book". The EBB I would say is very condensed, simplified, compact. and resides in my workshop whereas the MTH will reside in my library.

Yes. An excellent mixture of nice graphics and text. Mine will go to the workshop though.

Oddly, I never had a copy of the Engineer's Black Book. Perhaps I was happy with all my text books. Who else do you know has 6 text books on thermodynamics? LOL!

I guess it's about time that I did. If it's as good as others say, it would go to the workshop too - after it completes the bedside phase of course.....

Another comment on the Mechanical and Metal Trades Handbook that @gerritv first referenced in this thread. It really is downright excellent. I am enjoying it very much. Way more in it than I optimistically expected.
