New toolbox, plus…

Drove down to Kitchener this morning, to pick up a Kennedy bottom box, plus a side box.

‘There’s some other tools, do you want to have a look?’

Well, yeah, I do. 🙂

Narrowly wedged everything in my Yaris, with a very awkward driving position, and a toolbox full of wrenches that had to be lifted if I wanted to move the shifter (car’s an automatic, thankfully).



Made it back to work, and unloaded.



$600, not a crazy steal, but I was happy to find both Kennedy boxes have ball bearing slides.

Seller’s dad was a millwright, Dan Emory. I didn’t ask where he worked, but a bunch of punches and other bits are covered in some hard black gunk.

Nice haul Stu, ive always liked those Kennedy bottom boxes. The top ones though......

Never underestimate how much you can squeeze in a hatchback. Who needs a truck.
