  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. New puzzle (mosquito)

I haven't seen it since it's short stay in Cold Lake, it's on my wanna see list.
It's worth the visit if you get close.
There is a very large scale radio control mosquito in north Victoria it's painted to model how the one at nanton will be finished (spartan livery)
 
I broke my first tool trying to pull one of the pins (also broke the head off the pin).
I'm going to try a variation of Peter T's idea next.
It's just time and scrap metal.

I have a couple cheap side cutters that someone attempted to use on hard steel pins. They're pretty much useless as side cutters now, but they still take up space in my tool box.

I can see how with a little grinding, I could modify one of these to become a great tool for clamping into the slots on your pins. A pry bar under the side cutter might be enough to pop the pins out?

EDIT: Just read your last post about breaking the head off one of the pins. The side cutters would have to be modified to fit really well.
