Babangida,
What kind of electricity do you have access to ?

In Canada we are 110/1/60 in residences, but can get service in 3 phase 220, 480 and 575v.
Higher voltage is used as well at industrial sites.

We also get 1 and 3 phase electricity. High voltage for industries. If my memory serve me well, we operate on 240V, 50Hz, I learnt that in my secondary Physics textbook.

Don't know much about that.

Thanks and Welcome.
I did not know what type of ‘electrical service’ was available in Nigeria.
There is lots of experience here for metalworking and machining.
