netflix you suck almost as bad as twitter

Paul deserves to be taken slightly more seriously but he would not make it far in an actual boxing landscape.

At the same time, he hopes people will be nostalgic and hold a memory of a fighter from a bygone era.

He knows he can draw people playing the villain against these memories of fighters from the past.

The stuff he puts up is just spectacle closer to wrestling.

20 year old Tyson would have ended that fight before you could read this sentence. This doesn't make Jake a legit fighter . Maybe someday, but not off this fight.

Tyson is one of the GOATs and we would have never heard of Jake Paul or see him in a televised rink if it weren't for Youtubers and influencers.

Paul's gimmik is looking for fighters passed their prime that wants one last big payday more than another win (or avoid losing). Win or lose will never mean anything to a career they are already retired from.

Sports are supposed to be entertaining because real competition means we are left to wonder.

Paul makes us wonder in the opposite and polorizing way: half of us hopes Paul's grand plans will fail, which it never does as per his design; the other half are clueless kids who think Paul is god and will knock everyone out.

I'm just happy Tyson got his payday but could care less for Paul.

Fell asleep on the couch. Woke up, netflix froze. Went to bed. Watched highlights this morning, and not surprised by the outcome. Pretty predictable what happened, but I think we were all hoping Tyson would have knocked Paul's yappy head clean off his shoulders in the first round :D. Oh well. Two guys got paid, and it didn't cost me anything.

This wasn't a "real" fight from the beginning. It was an entertainment exhibition. Paul is an entertainer, not a boxer.

I hate influencers

No one tell me who won, 1/4 billion people tried to watch lasdt night and I havent seen the fight yet.

No losers in that exhibition (not a fight) 40 mil for Jake and 20 mil for Mike. Reminds me of the fiasco between Larry Holmes and Tex Cobb. Randall said, "that wasn't a fight, it was an exhibition for money. If Mr. Holmes wants to fight, I will be glad to meet him in the parking lot and break both his legs." Too bad Mike didn't go all Holyfield on Jake and snack on him a bit. LOL........................................Chawbeef

Now Tyler - Serrano, that was a fight

OMG Jake Paul missed with a huge roundhouse punch, and Tyson made no attempt to exploit it when he could have stepped in to deliver a KO esily.

POS fake fight. Whoever paid for this is a sucker

I'd give Tyson more credit in character. He absolutely wanted to knock Paul out and wasn't faking anything. But the legend is 58-years old and reaction time and cardio is just not up to par. If anything, the format with the heavier gloves and shorter round time helps Tyson at his age, by design. Tyson would absolutely knock out any person off the street but Paul is no a slouch either. The format was design to provide a closer match for Tyson to give people a better sense of entertainment for their money.

I agree it's rigged but not in Tyson holding back... they want to give us peasants greater spectacle in the Colosseum.
