Hi Everyone,

Need some help to get the word out.

Montreal's biggest maker space, http://espacefabrique.org/ , is having a membership drive. Recently there have been some issues that resulted in the space being closed temporarily. The new Board seems to have pulled off a small miracle in saving a great idea and needed resource, but, it wont last unless we can really start to bring in a crowd.

Tell your friends, acquaintances, or anyone who likes making stuff to sign up, show up, and build up a really great place that we'll miss if it's gone.

The new website could use some better pics. I'll mention that at our next meeting.

The facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pg/espacefabrique/photos/?ref=page_internal is a bit better.

The place is huge. Old indstrial building with 40 foot ceilings. The main fab area has the welding group, lathe, mil, brake, shear. Mostly King, not my favorite, but gets the job done. The woodworking section is still a bit basic but again you can still get alot done.
