Lookit all those nice, shiny chrome knobs, handles & wheels. That classic Monarch styling. Coupla cans of WD-40 & a bag of rags from PA, that industrial grey will just pop. It's practically got yer name onnit!

I know a bit of the story on this one (although not directly on this machine).
A couple months ago I went to look at an Aciera F3 that was on GC Surplus. I was chatting with the gentleman who is responsible for divestment of this kind of surplus from the National Research Counsel. Long story short, they're liquidating their entire machine shop that they had on site. The machinists are retiring and they didn't want to hire and train up new ones, so they're transitioning to a CM based model. I didn't see this thing while I was there, but if its condition is anything close to as nice as the Aciera I saw then it will be a lovely machine for somebody.

The guy I spoke to said they hired millwrights to clear out the shop, so I'm sure it's done right.
